My name is Kimberly George, and this is my third year serving as the Building-Based Instructional Math Coach at Lincoln Elementary School. I grew up in Trussville, Alabama, and am a Hewitt-Trussville alumna. I graduated from The University of Alabama in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and earned my Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership from The University of West Alabama in 2024.
After graduating from The University of Alabama in 2015, I moved to Pell City and began my teaching career at Lincoln Elementary School. During my first year, I taught second grade before moving to fifth grade, where I spent eight years primarily teaching mathematics and science. I am grateful to now serve Lincoln Elementary in a role that allows me to support both teachers and students across the school.
My husband, Matt, and I are blessed with two amazing children, Sadie, who is 5 and attends kindergarten at LES, and Walker, who recently turned 1. They bring so much joy to our lives and definitely keep us on our toes! Our family motto is, “You’ll never regret making too many memories!” Because of this, one of our favorite things to do is travel and make memories together as a family. We also enjoy playing golf and spending time with family and friends at the lake.
