Our School
Lincoln Elementary School is located in the rural town of Lincoln, Alabama, near Interstate 20 between Birmingham and Atlanta. The town's population has grown substantially in the last decade due to the opening of the Honda Plant and related businesses. The school, established in 1925, opened a new themed building in 2001 reflecting the community and its proximity to the Talladega SuperSpeedway and since then has added a new library media center as well as 10 additional classrooms.
Lincoln Elementary serves over 900 students with demographics of 65% white, 28% black, and 7% other. The school boasts several accolades, including AdvancEd accreditation, ARI and AMSTI Model School status, Lighthouse School status, a Let's Move Active School National Award, and STEM Certification. The staff includes nearly 100 members, with 100% of certified teachers being highly qualified.
