My name is Anna Jones and I have been blessed with a wonderful career in education that started in 2001 at Lincoln Elementary School teaching third grade. My professional experience includes working with our regional support staff as an AMSTI Math/Science Specialist for two years and AMSTI Assistant Director for three years at the University of Montevallo AMSTI site. In 2016, I returned to Talladega County Schools as a Technology Integration Specialist for one year at BB Comer Memorial High School. In the Fall of 2017, I returned to Lincoln Elementary as Assistant Principal for four years. In the 2021-2022 school year I transitioned into the role of Principal of Lincoln Elementary School. It is a great pleasure to serve the Lincoln community as Principal with Mrs. Stephanie Hendrix, Mrs. Amanda Smith, and the dedicated teachers at Lincoln Elementary School!

I am originally from the Winterboro area where I grew up on Ledbetter Farms. I have been married to my husband, Steven Jones, for 23 years. Steven is a Mechanical Engineer with Honda Manufacturing of Alabama. We have two children, Olivia, 18, and Jack, 14. We are active members of Eastaboga Baptist Church in Eastaboga. We enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, and all things Auburn.
