Karin Woodruff
My name is Karin Woodruff and I am the Technology Integration Specialist at L.E.S. This year marks my 26th in education. Previously, I served as the Library Media Specialist and taught STEAM, Kindergarten, 2nd and 3rd Grades. I am so excited to be working with teachers and teaching students concepts that I am very passionate about. I plan to instill the foundations of lifelong learning and equip them for the future through 21st Century skills, including robotics, the engineering design process, coding and computational thinking.
I am also an advocate for the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Initiative at our school and district levels. I have taught students in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math and collaborate with teachers to plan rigorous and engaging lessons to implement in their classrooms. It is my goal to provide opportunities for all students to participate in endeavors where they can be creative, take risks without the fear of failure, and become independent thinkers.
