Amanda Smith

My name is Amanda Smith and I am an Assistant Principal at Lincoln Elementary School. I started my career as a classroom teacher at Sycamore Elementary School in Talladega County School District in 2008. After two years at Sycamore, I continued my career at Munford Elementary as a classroom teacher for six wonderful years. In 2016, I served Sycamore Elementary School in the capacity of Instructional Partner, Digital Learning Specialist, and ended as ARI Reading Specialist. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master's in Educational Leadership from Samford University in 2014. During my years as a teacher and coach, I had several opportunities to hold many leadership positions. I am ecstatic to serve at Lincoln Elementary as one of the new assistant principals for the 2024-2025 school year!
