The 2024-2025 school year marks my 23rd year in education.  Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, ARI reading coach, and reading interventionist. Teaching has always been my passion! I have worked with students in kindergarten through 8th grade. I have loved it all!  I have both a B.S. and an Ed.S. degree in Elementary Education. I have an M.S. degree in reading specialist. I am currently a National Board Certified Teaching (NBCT) candidate. 

During my time at Lincoln, I taught both 4th and 5th. This year I will be moving back into an instructional coach position as one of the two reading specialists at LES.  

I have two amazing daughters, Ava and Clara, who keep me on my toes. We also have a mischievous black cat named Edgar who is always into something! If I'm not spending time with my family, you'll probably find me with my nose in a book.
